Here are the micro-reviews I’ve posted on Bluesky for the period (various news and links have also been posted):
Calling Dr. Laura, by Nicole J. Georges, is an autofiction navigating between the past (drawn in a cartoony style) and the present (with more realistic art) of a young lesbian whose mother hides a secret about her father.

Dragman, by Steven Appleby, is a fabulous superhero story with a straight, transvestite main character. The struggles of the protagonist mirror the author's own journey.
The art is highly accessible, with a nice use of both monochrome and color sequences.

You Brought Me The Ocean, by Alex Sanchez & Julie Maroh. A reinterpretation of a gay character from DC. A teenager falls in love and discovers his true heritage at the same time. Atmospheric, engaging art by French artist Maroh.

The Last Gay Man on Earth, by Ype Driessen. Autofiction in photo comics, with a character who doubts everything, including having doubts. Very funny, deeper than it seems.
