Cruse on the last YBIL ever

A panel from my Gardener storyYoung Bottoms in Love, the Tim Fish-edited gay anthology, is coming to an end.
This week and the next is The Gardener, a story I've written which is wonderfully drawn by Spanish artist Roger Zanni.
And then we'll get the last YBIL story, by none other than Howard Cruse. What a way to finish this anthology! Cruse hasn't published a new gay-themed comic for years, so I can safely say I feel indebted to Tim Fish for giving us a new Howard Cruse story. Go to the Pop Image site to read YBIL.

The Peach (and Stinz) in b&w

coverDonna Barr is going to publish a black and white version of the latest Desert Peach volume, which was a bit expensive in color (yeah, it was worth it). It will be only $5.95 for 64 pages, and will be available on May 1st, 2006. I'll very probably show you a page or two when I can.
Barr's other, non-gay-themed series, Stinz, will get the same treatment. The character will then be incorporated in the next stage of the Peach evolution, which, from what issue #31 has shown us, looks to be even more unusual than what's it's been until now. For more news, go to Donna Barr's site.

A new graphic novel by Maurice Vellekoop

cover Maurice Vellekoop is one of my favorite artists, despite having published no comics since 1997. So, I'm overjoyed to announce the upcoming publication of A Nut at the Opera, a 96-page, large-sized graphic novel from Drawn & Quaterly, which will present a satire of the opera world, which Vellekoop is very familiar with.
It will be available in April, but I should be able to write more about it sooner than that. Until then, you can go and read the pages I've dedicated to Vellekoop's work on my other site.

Jayson collected, and a new König book... again

Author(s): Jeff Krell, Ralf König.

In this month Previews magazine for comics to be published in April 2006, we find two gay graphic novels from Ignite! Entertainment: Jayson Vol. 2: Best of the 90's by Jeff Krell, and Ralf König's Maybe... Maybe Not again, which had already been published in English some years ago.
These two books are the sequels to last month's solicitations from the same publisher, for which I've finally found a website. There are sample pages, so go and have a look.
